The USS Organization was founded by and consists of concerned students, parents, grandparents, friends, educators, corporations, businesses, and community supporters who are dedicated to ensure the East Hamilton School will be successful upon opening. New schools can take several years to build academic programs, athletics, classroom basics, and other needed programs. USS wants to give our East Hamilton students a headstart by raising the funds necessary to achieve a nationally superior school upon opening! Our goal is to raise $5,000,000 to supplement the Hamilton County Department of Education's funding, which will only provide the facility, faculty, furniture, and textbooks.
Our mission of making East Hamilton School a nationally superior school is an important part of our community pride. Our USS volunteers are donating hundreds of hours to support this mission. The USS Steering Committee is lead by Curtis Smith, President, and Scott Gentry, Vice President.
